Module 1 – Understanding Novel Writing


Course outline:

Creation of characters in fiction

Different sources for characters in stories

Ways of presenting characters in stories

Reading as a writer

Writing practice, including creativity, research, observation and editing

Peer reviewing, and the importance of feedback

What will you learn?

Apply and learn to write fiction by creating characters

Investigate the concept of writing.

Explore usage of a writer’s notebook for ideas.

Develop your awareness of editing.

Identify the importance of getting critical comments with fellow writers.

This course is for?

This course is intended for those with an interest in starting to write fiction or improving their fiction writing, and does not require any previous experience of studying this subject.

Recommended for learners age 15+.

Who will you learn with?

Tanzeela K Hassan, author of HUNGER, That Summer, Temoli, and The Variat. She has a masters in Nutrition and is a mother of four.  She sets a great example for us with her healthy writer’s mindset, initiative, thinking out of the box personality. She will help the students see how to turn writer’s fear and lack-mindset into faith and abundance. She also helps print and publish the works of other emerging authors in Pakistan. 

When Will The Course Commence?

The Course Has A Flexible Time Frame Depending on The Participants and The Availability of the Conductor. 

Time it’ll take:

Three weeks!
4 hours per week, 12 hours in total. 

A total of six classes.

5000/- for the complete Module.
